Privacy Policy

Fiscalis is committed to ensuring the protection of clients’ personal data. This privacy policy sets out in detail the methods in which Fiscalis, as the controller, handles the information processed or collected from its clients. In addition, this privacy policy governs the processing of data taking place when you visit the Fiscalis website. The services provided by Fiscalis are not intended for persons under 16 years of age, but we cannot know whether the data we collect or process relate to persons under 16 years of age. We advise all parents and custodians to teach children under the age of 16 how to handle personal information safely and responsibly online. The processing of personal data is based on one of the legal bases for processing in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679), the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable regulations governing the protection of personal data.

Personal data include the data which identify you (such as name, address, e-mail or postal address, etc.). Fiscalis does not collect your personal data unless you have explicitly made it available to us (e.g., newsletter or for some other reason), by which you consent to their usage for the purposes listed below.

If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving the newsletter, you can do so at any time via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter. In accordance with the provisions of Article 7(3) of the General Data Protection Regulation, you can also withdraw your consent at any time in whole or in part by notifying Fiscalis in writing to the address indicated above, by e-mail or telephone. If you unsubscribe from receiving the newsletter or withdraw your consent, we will stop processing the personal data we have collected for this purpose. We store the collected data only for the period during which you receive the newsletter and you have not withdrawn the given consent to receive the newsletter. Upon receipt of your statement on withdrawal of consent, we will acknowledge receipt in writing, and personal data covered by the statement on withdrawal will no longer be processed starting from the date of withdrawal of consent. Please note that all processing and/or transfers made up to the date of withdrawal of consent will remain legally valid.

Client (data subject) rights

The client decides what information about themselves they make available. Please notify us of any changes to your personal information so that we can update it in our database. In addition to the aforementioned right to withdraw consent, the General Data Protection Regulation stipulates that data subjects have the right to access and confirm personal data, the right to rectification, the right to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”), the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object. Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority.

Automated processing

Please note that some data (such as the type of browser you use, the number of visits, the average time spent on the site, the content viewed, etc.) are processed automatically when you access our website. This information is used for the purpose of assessing the attractiveness of our website. Please note that the client or visitor has the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, unless such a decision is necessary for the conclusion or execution of the contract, allowed by Croatian or EU law or based on the explicit consent of the client.

Data retention period

We store your data until the expiration of a period of two years from the end of the contractual relationship, except for those data for which the applicable regulations prescribe a longer retention period. We store your data provided for the purposes of direct marketing on the basis of a legitimate interest until the expiration of a period of two years from their collection, except for those data for which the applicable regulations prescribe a longer retention period. If you have given a consent for processing your data for marketing purposes that extends the prescribed period, we store your personal data until you withdraw the consent.

Data protection measures

Fiscalis makes great efforts to ensure an adequate level of personal data protection. All personal data we process is diligently protected from loss, destruction, manipulation, unauthorised access and unauthorised disclosure. All Fiscalis employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of data and to comply with internal acts of general application. In order to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable regulations, Fiscalis uses the latest technical and organisational protection measures.

Notification of changes and links to other sites

Any amendments to this privacy policy, as well as its consolidated text, will be posted on our website and at other places deemed appropriate. If you have any questions regarding our privacy policy, feel free to contact us. This privacy policy applies to the Fiscalis website. In case it contains links to other service providers, this privacy policy does not apply to them.
